ABOUT QUTUB MINAR:

Qutub Minar is a UNESCO world heritage site. Its foundation was laid by Qutub-Ud-Din-Aibak in A.D. 1199. The height of Qutub Minar is 72.5 meters. It is a 5 storey minaret. There is a staircase inside, which consists of 379 steps. But now, nobody is not allowed to go inside because of certain accidents that happened in the past. Qutub Minar is made up of red stones and marbles. It is one of the highest minarets in India. Enjoy your visit. Here’s some information regarding the same:

Red Fort is a UNESCO world heritage site. Its constructions was commissioned by Shah Jahan on 12 May, 1638. Although, its construction completed on 6 April, 1648. Red Fort is also popularly known as ‘Lal Quila’. The height of Red Fort is 30 meters. The architect of Red Fort was Ustad Ahmad Lahori. The walls of Red Fort are made up of red sandstone. Every year, on Independence day (15 August), the Prime Minister of India hoists the nation flag on Red Fort.

India gate is famously known as All India War Memorial. Its height is 42 meters. It is designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens. On the walls of India gate are engraved the names of soldiers who were martyred during the war. Later on, Amar Jawan Jyoti was also built after the construction of India Gate ended. India Gate reminds us of all the brave and fearless soldiers.

India Gate is located in New Delhi, which is the capital of India. The exact location in Rajpath, India Gate, New Delhi, Delhi 11001.

Masjid-i Jehan Numa is also known as Jama Masjid. It is one of the largest mosques in India. It was built by a Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan and was established in 1656. The mosque consists of 2 minarets and 3 domes. Each minaret is 40 meters high. It’s made up of red sandstone and marble. The mosque has the capacity to consist more than 25000 people.

Jama Masjid is located in Delhi, India. The exact location is Jama Masjid Rd, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, New Delhi, Delhi 110006.

HUMAYUN’S TOMB

ABOUT HUMAYUN’S TOMB:

Humayun’s tomb is a historical monument which was declared as a UNESCO world heritage site in 1993. It was constructed in 1570 and it was commissioned by Humayun’s first wife, Bega Begum. It was designed by Mirak Mirza Ghiyas. There are more than 100 graves in the entire complex of Humayun’s tomb. The height of Humayun’s tomb is 47 meters.

Humayun’s tomb is located in Delhi, India. The exact location is Mathura Road Opposite, Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia Dargah, Nizamuddin, New Delhi, Delhi 110013.

CONCLUSION

The best time to visit these places is between October to March because the weather is just fine in Delhi in these months. The weather is pleasant and comfortable and flowers are blooming all around. You obviously don’t want to feel uneasy and irritated of sweat during summers.
