RED FORT

INTRODUCTION

The Red Fort is a historical fort located in Old Delhi, India. It was the main residence of the Mughal Emperors. It was built by Shah Jahan and it took him almost 9 years to complete its construction. The Red Fort is famously known as ‘Lal Qila’. It is made up of red sandstone.

INTRODUCTION

Tughlaqabad Fort was built by the founder of Tughlaq Dynasty, Ghiyas-ud-din-Tughlaq. It is located in Delhi, India. The monument is basically left with the remains of the fort. It was built in 1321 and was abandoned on 1327. The Tughlaqabad Fort was cursed and there is an interesting history behind it.

Located in New Delhi, Hauz Khas fort was built back in the 13th century. It consists a tomb, a mosque, a Muslim seminary and a water tank. It was constructed in Allaudin Khilji’s reign. There are total 7 domes inside Hauz Khas fort made up of sandstone and marble. There are various interesting art galleries, boutiques and restaurants near Hauz Khas Fort.

Safdarjung Tomb, built in 1754, is located in Delhi, India. It was built for Nawab Safdarjung. The tomb attracts a lot of customers all around the years because of its uniqueness and historical essence.
